Power Distribution

DC power distribution modules (PDMs) allow passenger and commercial vehicle makers to reduce the number and complexity of wiring harnesses while boosting circuit protection. Each PDM accepts a mix of fuses and relays for 12 V systems and higher. Littlefuse supplements our wide range of configurable, hardwired, fuse-only, and compact POWR-BLOK PDMs with fuse holders and junction box bolts.

    Configurable

    Configurable

Configurable dc power distribution modules (PDMs) from Littelfuse are dust-tight, waterproof, and proven to perform in the harshest environments where commercial vehicles operate. Our full-sized Flexible Electrical Center (FLEC) accommodates more than 25 automotive fuses, diodes, and relays, and our compact MiniFLEC bolsters the performance of the main PDM module. Each configurable PDMs is internally bussed, connectorized, and comes with a printed circuit board (PCB) to coordinate circuit protection and current flow. For EVs, we also offer a High Voltage Power Distribution Unit that accommodates bus bars and sensors.
    • Create dc power distribution module for conventionally-fueled or battery-powered commercial vehicles

    Fuse Only

    Fuse Only

Fuse-only power distribution modules (PDMs) made by Littelfuse offer durable and customizable high-current circuit protection solutions for commercial vehicles. Our PDMs accommodate a mix of ATO/ATOF®, MEGA®, MIDI®, and ZCASE® automotive fuses. Several can be permanently sealed and made waterproof, and all shield sensitive components from dust, road splash, and high-pressure wash fluid. Whether your application demands a battery compartment, exposed, or rapid voltage-switching solution, we can supply your fuse-only PDM or build one that meets your specifications.
    • Maximum voltage ratings from 12 V to 60 V
    • Per PDM continuous current ratings between 200 A and 600 A
    • Meet IP, ISO, and SAE standards for sealing against dust and water
    • Corrosion-resistant bolts and connectors
    • Multiple electrical power outlets
    • Reduce number of interconnections and simplify wiring

    Hard-Wired PDMs

    Hard-Wired PDMs

    Hard-Wired PDMs

Use hardwired dc power distribution modules to supplement the overcurrent protection and power management provided by the main PDM in a commercial vehicle, marine vehicle, or piece of heavy equipment. Compact hardwired PDMs made by Littelfuse accommodate between 6 and 18 fuses, circuit breakers, and relays. Specific modules are designed to hold ATO/ATOF®, JCASE®, MCASE®,or MINI® fuses. If one of our off-the-shelf models does not meet your needs, contact us to start the process of designing a customized solution.
    • Voltage ratings of 32 V dc or 58 V dc
    • Per PDM continuous current ratings from 100 A to 250 A
    • IP67 and IP69K ratings for dustproof and waterproof cases
    • Thermoplastic bases with UL 94 flammability ratings of V-0
    • Multiple electrical power outlets
    • Small size allows placement throughout a vehicle or piece of equipment
    • Can parallel to increase overcurrent protection

    Industrial Power Distribution Blocks

    Industrial Power Distribution Blocks

Littelfuse POWR-BLOK industrial power distribution blocks offer a safe, convenient way of splicing cables, providing a fixed junction tap-off point, or splitting primary power into secondary circuits. The GDB series adds mounting versatility and are approved to UL standards. This product group also includes optional power distribution block covers for protection against accidental shorting between poles, and they protect personnel from accidentally contacting energized connectors. Optional DIN-rail mountable blocks are available as well as wire connector lug assemblies.

    Power Distribution Accessories

In addition to producing industry-standard dc power distribution modules (PDMs) for commercial vehicles, Littelfuse supplies accessories that boost the performance of our PDM modules. Available accessories include battery terminal studs, junction block studs, and pass-thru stud blocks. The battery studs replace OEM posts to make jumping-starting easier. The studs accommodate larger, high-current cables while also simplifying wiring harnesses. As an added feature, the studs come with black and red heat-resistant insulating locknuts. This makes it easier to distinguish positive and negative terminals.

    Busbars & Terminal Blocks

    Busbars & Terminal Blocks

Our automotive busbars and terminal blocks allow you to consolidate wiring and distribute electrical power in a cost-effective manner. Busbars and terminal blocks serve as convenient connection points for power distribution within a vehicle or piece of equipment. So, what’s the difference? A busbar enables you to feed multiple branch circuits from a single source, while a terminal block enables you to route multiple independent circuits. Our portfolio includes a variety of screw terminal blocks, stud terminal blocks, and barrier strip terminal blocks, as well as busbars with screw terminals or stud terminals.
    • Terminal blocks and busbars available with stud or screw terminals
    • Insulator bases made from either moisture-repellent phenolic resin or moisture-resistant molded thermoplastic
    • Up to 20-gang busbars and up to 14-gang terminal blocks
    • Cost-effective routing of multiple individual or branch circuits
    • Offers a convenient access point for maintenance and troubleshooting
    Jumper Terminals & Junction Blocks

    Jumper Terminals & Junction Blocks

We offer the battery terminal accessories you need, including remote battery jumper terminals and battery junction blocks. Our battery jumper terminals and battery jumper studs let you remotely mount battery connections inside or outside a vehicle, making it easier to charge or jump a battery that’s hard or dangerous to access. What is a junction block? Our battery junction block products are used as electrical connection points for the distribution of power or ground. These single-stud junction blocks can simplify cabling and architectures and serve as convenient power tap points.
    • Color-coded battery studs and junction blocks for quick identification of power points
    • Impact-resistant plastic bodies
    • Remote battery jumper terminals and studs allow battery connections in convenient locations inside or outside a vehicle
    • Junction blocks simplify cabling and architechtures
