Fuse Holders, Fuse Blocks & Accessories
Fuse Accessories
Whether you need a Class J fuse removal tool, a fuse adapter, a cabinet to safely store and logically organize replacement fuses, Littelfuse delivers. We make extensive lines of fuse pullers with handles designed to ensure ease of use, fuse reduces to prevent overfusing in industrial power applications, and specialty fuse accessories. You can also rely on us to supply high-performance fuse caps, fuse covers, fuse clips, fuse disconnect switches for telecommunication equipment, and fuse jumpers for customizing circuits and upgrading overcurrent protection.
Bodies, Caps, Covers & Terminals
Fuse caps, covers, bodies, and terminals combine to form assemblies that fit into fuse holders. The caps and covers protect fuses and people, and several of those components are designed to make fuse removal and replacement simpler. Each type and size of fuse requires caps and covers that fit their unique dimensions. For this reason, Littelfuse makes dozens of caps and covers for a range of different cartridge, blade, and inline fuses.
Fuse Clips
Fuse clips enable easy installation and replacement of overcurrent protection devices. Generally resembling U clamps, fuse clips also keep fuses secure in moving vehicles and machines that experience high vibrations. Littelfuse produces clips for fuses of all designs and sizes. Places you will find our fuse clips include electric motors, battery control modules, computers, electronic locks, household appliances, HVAC-R units, lamps and lighting arrays, power plants, and telecom equipment. If you do not find an off-the-shelf clip that perfectly meets your needs, contact a Littelfuse expert to custom design a clip.
Fuse Pullers & Testers
The Littelfuse ergonomically-designed fuse pullers and POWR-JAW clip clamps offer greater ease in removing fuses because they feature a more comfortable and natural grip. These specially-designed fuse pullers increase safety and performance by improving upon unnecessary heat from poor contact, nuisance opening, and premature aging of surrounding components. The POWR-JAW clips are designed to improve contact between the fuse and the clip and come in a variety of voltage and ampere ratings. These products are offered in several different sizes to accommodate fuse size variations.
UL Class Fuse Reducers
Littelfuse POWR-GARD UL Class fuse reducers allow lower-rated fuses to fit higher-rated fuse blocks, fuse holders, and fused disconnect switches to prevent overfusing. With these fuse reducers, smaller size fuses can fit into existing fuse clips. The LRUH, LRUJ, and LRUR series fuse reducers are intended to be used with UL Class H, J, and R fuses, respectively. These products are designed and manufactured with a variety of features and benefits including easy installation, silver-brazed joints for maximum strength, UL listed, CSA certified, and help to reduce inventory requirements.
Fuse Blocks
Fuse blocks that serve as holders for specialized fuses simplify installation, prevent shocks, and align terminals with contacts. PolySwitch® Resettable PPTC Devices
PolySwitch® and POLYFUSE® resettable devices from Littelfuse provide reliable overcurrent protection in automotive, telecommunication, and power supply applications. The solid state polymeric positive temperature coefficient (PPTC) devices increase in resistance as their elements heat. This ensures current flows safely and keeps the fuse from blowing. We offer surface mount, low-resistance, bladed, radial leaded, line voltage rated, and battery strap resettable fuses. Our TD and Chip PolySwitch devices are ideal for use with small motors for vehicle windows and seat controls.
Automotive - Reflowable Thermal Protectors
Reflowable thermal protectors (RTPs) for automotive applications provide overtemperature protection in much the same way that automotive fuses provide overcurrent protection. RTPs open when the temperature of the circuit in which it is included rises above a set point that is much higher than the maximum safe operating temperature of the circuit. Littelfuse makes AEC-Q200–qualified automotive RTPs optimized for mounting on printed circuit boards and protecting batteries. The devices can also be used to protect temperature-sensitive electronics in data centers and telecommunications systems.
