    Capacitors

    Capacitors

Durable and dependable capacitors ensure single-phase electric motors start quickly and run efficiently. Littelfuse meets those demands by producing motor hard start capacitor kits and motor run capacitors. The hard start kits for motors that produce between 0.5 hp and 10 hp include a start capacitor and a switching mechanism that cycles down the release of current as a motor reaches its operating speed. Run capacitors facilitate phase shifts so motors do not stall. Contact us if your application requires a run capacitor with a very high operating voltage.

    Current Sensing Resistors

Current sense resistors enable precise power management, safe battery operation, and optimal motor control. Littelfuse helps electronic equipment manufacturers take advantage of these capabilities by producing metal foil and metal plate current sense resistors. Packaged like subminiature chip fuses, our current sense resistors save space on printed circuit boards, have ultra-low resistance ratings, and have a low TCR. We also make versions that are specifically engineered to serve as a jumper chip.
